McAfee and AVG rescue CD cannot find anything. I cannot see anything untoward this and OpenDNS and DNScrypt are not installed. After doing a bit of googling, many people have said that the problem could be caused by Malware, OpenDNS and DNSCrypt. Regardless, the DNS will reset itself to 127.0.0.1. Couple minutes later unable to browse the web and checked the DNS which as reset back to 127.0.0.1. I've set this to obtain automatically and able to browse the web. The laptop has connected to the Wi-Fi and been given a IP from the DHCP server, but has the DNS server manually specified to 127.0.0.1. Ran AV scans with McAfee and AVG's Rescue CD, nothing found so all good. I've cleared these up and nothing suspicious running. Booted and noticed the usual, about 10 different toolbars in IE, numerous 'Security Scanners'. A couple of weeks ago, a user brought a laptop to me saying it was running slow.
